Back Wall Installation


STEP 1:

Locate the plastic cover between the 60% and 40% seats. Using a Torx 20 Bit remove the two (2) screws. Lift and remove the plastic cover.


STEP 2:

Using a 10mm Socket remove the two (2) screws that connect the seats together.




STEP 3:

With a E-Torx 14 socket remove four (4) screws on both sides of the seat being removed. Repeat step to remove the other seat.


STEP 4:

Pull seat strap to release seat and pull up and out. Repeat step to remove the other seat.

NOTE: Both seats will need to be removed to continue to the next step




STEP 5:

Remove Seat Tray lining. Remove the four (4) screws on the Seat Tray. Pry the Seat Tray from the back wall and remove tray.


STEP 6:

Pry the factory back wall from around the edges and pop off. Be sure to remove the lining from the back wall and reintall over the cabin vents.  




STEP 7:

Assemble the 60% side and 40% side Goose Gear Back Wall using the two (2) mending plates. Insure the two parts are level when tightening.


STEP 8:

Place the Back Wall into position in the vehicle. When placing the Back Wall sit the base behind the notch on the body.




STEP 9:

Align the two (2) screws on the 60% side of the Back Wall with the factory holes on the vehicle and hand tighten accordingly. Mark the two (2) holes on the 40% side with a marker or center punch. Be sure to center holes to insure proper fitment.

Note: When securing bolts into place you do not need to ground the bolt. A gap in the center might occur due to the factory body having a curve.


STEP 10:

Remove the two (2) screws from the 60% Back Wall and set the Back Wall aside




STEP 11:

Find the hole marks that were made in Step 9 and using an 11/32” drill bit drill a hole at each of the two (2) marks


STEP 12:

Using the Nutsert Tool provided, install Nutsert into each drilled hole.


STEP 13:

Re-insert the Back Wall into position. Make sure to place the factory liner, that was removed from the Factory Back Wall in Step 6, over the vents to help with noise reduction.




STEP 14:

Loosen Install the 60% Side bolts first then install the 40% Side bolts. Once all bolt are in place hand tighten all bolts accordingly. When securing bolts in place you do not need to ground the bolt.

Note: You might need to loosen the mending plate bolts if you are having trouble aligning the bolts into the holes.


STEP 15:

Install the Seat Delete or Re-Install Seats.
